We are a specialist family run fish smoked based in Grimsby and have been smoking fish in a wonderfully traditional way for over 100 years. Years of tradition have carefully refined our cold smoking method, using hand crafted skills passed down through generations. The build-up of tar on the inside of our smokehouse is incredible and helps to impart subtle flavours and tannins, creating a taste and appearance unlike any smoked haddock you have experienced. Our PGI status ensures high standards, guaranteeing a quality product and taste that simply cannot be recreated through modern electrical kilns.

We are a family run wholesale fish merchants, involved in the fishing industry for four generations. Starting on Grimsby’s famous Pontoon in his father’s business, Kevin has built his business from scrubbing pans to his own fishing board, filleting for nearly 50 years. From being handed his fathers’ Plaice business, Kevin has now expanded the business to fresh, chilled and frozen fish due to increasing demand for variety by all of our customers.
Today, we not only use local fisheries, we import directly from ships in Europe’s Fish Markets, and import exotic fish from around the world. We ensure quantity, quality and freshness by having regular deliveries throughout the week. All our fish is hand filleted on site, and sold locally, nationally and internationally. Our fresh fish is delivered directly to the factory from the river or sea via Grimsby’s Fish Docks, where it is graded and filleted.
